#238 – The Best Books on WPF

Here are some of my favorites books on WPF, or related to developing software using WPF:

  • Pro WPF in C# 2010: Windows Presentation in .NET – Matthew MacDonald
    • Excellent book, maybe the best book out there on WPF; very complete
  • WPF 4 Unleaded – Adam Nathan
    • Another excellent resource; full color; great explanations of topics like 3D graphics
  • WPF Control Development Unleashed: Building Advanced User Experiences – Pavan Podila & Kevin Hoffman
    • Nice book that goes into topics that some of the other books don’t cover; includes good patterns for developing controls

Following book touch-base overall app development and good for folks to see holistic WPF app view. I don’t recommend for advanced users.
